XPS Startup Problems

I have recently started to hear a very loud buzzing noise coming from inside my XPS, and because it was getting on my nerves, i held my knee against the side which stopped the noise. However, now whenever i try to turn it on, nothing happens. Absolutely nothing. The fans start, the cd drives start (not sure if the hard disc starts) and then i hear 3 loud beeps, there is no signal to the monitor or keyboard and to say the least im a bit concerned. It is an XPS Gen5 with 3.4ghz processor and 1gb ram, 1 cd-drive, 1 dvd-drive, 160Gb Harddrive and a 6800 gfx card and an Audigy2 ZX soundcard, i cant tell you anything else as the thing wont actually start.

Any advice would be appreciated

Three beeps is not good. You need to take the case off and reseat every component. If you feel uncomfortable doing that I would take it to a local shop,if you are out of warrenty.
