AC Adapter Problems with a Inspiron 6000

My power adapter for my Inspiron 6000 died for no aparent reason. I have tried for three days to get ahold of tech support to get it replaced with the warrantee on the computer, but I have had no luck. Is there any way that I can get a replacement or at least get through to the tech support?

I've called twice, and each time was disconnected after about an hour of waiting.  Each attempt to use the chat has resulted in about a three or four hour wait, and being as I am running entirely on battery power at this point, I can't afford to do that.  I just need a replacement, and I know that I am still covered by the warranty.

Mine also went bad about a year ago and Dell sent me a new one right away, I also learned a lesson about having a spare. Picked one up pretty cheap off that auction site. Now I have 2.

    Good luck.
