Hello, So I updated the drivers using my service tag number on the dell support site <ADMIN NOTE: Service tag removed per privacy policy> (nvidia GeForce gt335m v. 263.08, a02) And the attempted to connect my laptop to the tv again via hdmi it is a Samsung LCD And it still doesn't reconise that there is a monitor connected It's strange because six months ago it worked perfectly fine But I have however since then factory restored my mx11 Could this be an issue ? Thank you for your help !!

Hi Shaun,
To assist you further, I would like to know the operating system installed in the system.
If the system has Windows 7 installed, please install the chipset and Command center drivers in the order listed below:
- Chipset drivers: http://dell.to/1428BDN
- Command center drivers: http://dell.to/10y7Bml
After installing the drivers, restart the system.
Connect the laptop and TV with HDMI cable; press Fn key +F1 key to switch the display and check.
Please post the results.

Hi Shaun,
Please follow the below mentioned steps:
Ensure M11x-R2 is connected to the AC adapter:
- Disconnect the HDMI cable from the M11x-R2 and the monitor/TV
- Turn the monitor/TV off
- Open the Nvidia Control Panel
- Select Manage 3D Settings
- Under the Global Settings tab, select High Performance Nvidia processor
- Click Apply- OK
- Close the Nvidia Control Panel
- Power the monitor/TV on
- Connect the HDMI cable to the monitor/TV, then to the M11x-R2 HDMI port
- Configure the monitor/TV using the Nvidia Control Panel
If the above steps did not help:
- Open the Nvidia Control Panel
- Select Manage 3D Settings
- Under the Global Settings tab, select Integrated graphics
- Click Apply- OK
- Close the Nvidia Control Panel
- Configure the monitor/TV using the Intel GMA 4500MHD display settings
Please post the results.

Ok so I tried to do the above steps but nothing is coming up in my nivida 3d setting box
If I could post a pic I would
When I checked my dxdiag is says my
Graphics driver has no problems
I have taken photos for the above but can't figure out how to post them on here
I've ordered a display to hdmi cable to see if my display port will project the screen
As well but until that arrives I'd greatly appreciate any more feedback you could think of
Thank you again Shaun

- Restart the computer.
After the system restarts please run Windows updates.
- Steps to run “Windows updates”:

Hi Shaun,
I suggest you to update the video drivers and try using the "Windows" + "P" keys to check if the TV can receive the signal from the laptop.
You can download the drivers by punching in the Service Tag by visiting the following link:

Please let me know about your findings.
