Battery Compatibility?
I have a dell insprion 1501, and my battery is shot.
I have the opportunity to buy a Dell Insprion Battery Type D5318 and am curious to know if it will work with my laptop
Physically, they are identical, except for placement of symbols.
Any input?

No. The D5318 is for the Inspiron 6000. Although the chassis and battery look similar to those of the 1501, they're not interchangeable.
