Can I upgrade these?

Hello all! I had a quick(I hope so) question. I have a Inspiron 9100 with a 9700 gpu and a 2.8Ghz cpu. Can I upgrade the cpu(like the 3.2Ghz) to a higher one and the gpu to the 9800? If so where can I find these parts? Thanks for your time!

    The 9800 video card will make a drastick improvement you wont regret the upgrade.I had a 9100 with the 9700 now i have aXPS with the 9800
    wow what a difference.

    The CPU is standard and can be purchased anywhere. The video card is not and must come from Dell.

    Could I get a link for the cpu(s)? I am not comfortable with ordering parts, I never know what to get. And how much was the 9800 upgrade for all you people out there that got one?

    The 9800 card runs about $350 through Dell Spare Parts.

    Thank you very much for the link and info. Thats a very expensive upgrade :p, but from what I hear it's worth it. Will be ordering soon. Thanks again!

    Just called dell parts for the price and it was a nice $400!!!!! And on top of that, its out of stock!!!! Is there any where else that I could get one of these? If anybody knows or wants to sell one, let me know. Thanks!

    I have now Inspiron 8600 with Ati 9600 Pro Turbo. Is it possible to change the adapter to 6800 Go (or Ultra)? This is not powerfull enough anymore :Ì
