Cannot Switch from Earphones Back to Stereo
Good morning. After I found out on my Inspiron 3135 (3000 Series) laptop how to get my earphone candy to work, now the Dell Audio system won't show me how to switch back to stereo! Under the "Speaker/Headphone" tab, when I click "Speaker Set-Up," all I see is "Headphone Size." I need to know how to switch off the Headphones. Please help! Thanks.

The instructions you gave me I've already done. My Inspiron 3135 has Windows 8.1. What frustrates me is not Windows, but Dell Audio. I cannot find in Dell audio how to switch back to stereo from earphones to stereo. I can hear NOTHING without headphones now. On the Speaker/Headphone window, I cannot select Max Stereo: the window tells me it "is not available for headphone output" - and I don't want headphone output anymore! But Dell Audio won't show me how to switch back. I've never had a laptop this difficult to operate what should be a simple device.
