D600 Volume/Mute Control not working

The volume/mute control on the keyboard doesn't work, either the Fn Pageup/pagedown keys or the buttons across the top by the power switch. It still works through the taskbar icon and the audio dialog.

I have reinstalled the drivers several times. There are no recent installation changes.

Does anyone have a solution?

    I have the same exact problem- I had to reinstall several drivers after a hard drive crash, that's when it startred. Any solutions?

    You reference a D800. Is it the same for a D600?

    If you reloaded your OS, you also need (from Dell Downloads for your system and following install of "Chipset/s" and
    "Notebook Software" installed prior to Dell QuickSet for those "Fn" and Keyboard "macros" to function.

    If no reinstall of OS (Windows XP) was involved, just re-install QuickSet.

    Reinstall info "...chipset first, etc. ..." is true for all, but follow Dell Re-Install Guide
    for your system.

    Don't have D600, look on your D600 Download site and if QuickSet is not listed, don't install it:)
