A couple weeks ago, I come home from school, and find my laptop off. I figured my sister was on it, and turned it off, whatever. It doesnt boot. I check the AC/Adapter, and the lights off, yet the units plugged in.

Earlier this week, I finally got around ot ordering a new one, as I REALLY needed to get this system back up and running. The AC/Adapter came in today, excited, I ripped the box/bag open, and immediately plugged it in. Green light turns on the unit, then I plug the power cable into the back of my laptop. The light shuts off, and doesnt come back on. Dead nothing. I unplug it from the outlet, plug it back in. Nothing. I unplug it, run downstairs grab my old (dead) Adapter, plug it into the same outlet, lights up, I plug it into the back of my computer, the light shuts off IMMEDIATELY. I unplugged both adapters, brought them to another room, another fuse of the house, and tried them again. Both did the same thing.

As a student, It's tough blowing extra money that you don't have on products that shouldn't falter. I spent $1800 for this laptop new, and I find it RATHER unacceptable that after a few months of use, that something like this would happen. I've always treated this machine with the utmost care, and the few times I DO move it anywhere, I hold it more carefully than I would a small child. Obviously, Im a bit frustrated right now, does anyone have any idea what the problem is? Now Im thinking its the main battery, though I have no idea how to explain why the AC Adapter flickers out when it plugs into the back of my laptop, and reasoning why the battery has something to do with that.
