Dell Support Alert Icon

Can someone tell me how to prevent the Dell support alert icon from loading into the system tray.  I have a 5150 and 9100, both running XP.  I've tried this so far:  start>run>msconfig>startup tab,  but I can't seem to find anything in there that looks like this program.  If someone can tell me the exact box to uncheck under the start up tab, or an alternate method to disable this, I would really appreciate it.

Thanks in advance

Tom

You could uninstall Dell Support, listed in Control Panel's Add Remove Programs. That would probably remove the Dell Support Alert Icon.

Thanks for the response P.  I'll do that as a last resort.  I'd really rather just stop the icon from loading, and it's driving me crazy that I can't figure out how to do this.

{rt click} Start, properties, taskbar, check "hide inactive Icons", click "customize", select the icon and check "always off".

Thanks for the response enigma-2, but I think that will just hide the icon.  I would like to prevent it from loading in the first place.  If no one has any other ideas, I guess I'll just remove the program.
