Difference in Font Appearance
I have just received a Inspiron 6000 and I have noticed a difference in the whay that fonts appear in this computer compared to a Dell Dimension 4550 running Windows XP Pro. Anyone can tell me why this is so? The Dell Dimension has a 18" LCD monitor connected to it and I have a 19" LCD monitor connected to my Inspiron 6000. I am puzzled by the difference.

Clear type is enabled on my new Inspiron. But it is not on my Dell Dimension. But on the Dell Dimension the option is grayed out. How can I enable this option?303

Try to download cleartype tuner from Microsoft
