Error Code 5300:0019

My Dell E1705 laptop has horizontal lines running across my LCD screen.

I tested the video system and it failed the memory test.  This is the message I got:  "VESA SVGA Video - video memory test" with "error code 5300:0119 msg: detected a failure while writing and reading video memory. Video Mode: Dh[320x200x16]. Address A40h, expected to read 0h but read FFFFFFFFFh instead."

I'm beyond the warranty for my laptop.

Thanks.  Just installed replacement card and it worked perfectly.

However, I must say that Dell customer support was terrible.  They didn't send any instructions and no information on the driver either.  I was able to figure it all out, but it took longer than it needed to.  I called Dell once during the process and they wanted to charge me $50 to talk to a tech when it was their fault they didn't send the instructions!  Unbelievable.

But all's well that ends well.
