Expresscard blanking piece

I have spent over 3 months trying to get Dell to send me the Expresscard blanking piece which was missing from my 630m on delivery.  (It was from Dell's Outlet store for the UK but was not advertised as incomplete.)

Now they are telling me (i) the part is no longer available, (ii) blanking pieces are no longer supplied with Inspirons and (iii) I was never entitled to one in the first place.  I find this odd as the manuals still refer to the piece.  I don't doubt customer sevrice have tried to source it (and spent vastly more money trying to do so than the part is worth - indeed, I suspect it would have been cheaper for them to have sent me an actual Expresscard of some sort).  But can anyone please confirm that they have received the blanking peice with recent deliveries?  And/or suggest who in Dell in Ireland might be capable of sticking one in an envelope to me?

If it is that important to you, try buying one. I doubt they cost more than a dollar or two (not sure about exchange rates).

The PC card blank in my system has a part number on it. If anyone has an ExpressCard blank, maybe they could check to see if there is a part number on it, and post it here.
