Firefox 3 versus IE 7
I just installed Firefox 3 on my Dell m1330 and tried testing it out. I can't really tell which one is better - both seem to be about the same speed when pulling up a webpage, except I had to download Adobe Flash player for Firefox because it wasn't already installed like it is with IE. Also, at the Dell Home page in Firefox, I tried playing a YouTube video while in the homepage, and it wouldn't play. When I went back to the exact same homepage in IE 7, the YouTube video played right away. I guess what I am asking is if I should stick with IE 7 or continue to try out Firefox 3 since I have never used it before? I heard a lot of good things about Firefox, like better security and faster webpages, but I am not sure which one to stick with?

I have used Firefox for years and have never been disappointed. Many extensions available to personalize it, it is faster and has better rendering than IE. Better security features. Infinitely more customizable.
You could also try Opera. It works better than IE.
As far as YouTube, make sure that Firefox is not ad blocking it. I have no problems with YouTube videos-either directly from the site or linked. Give it a chance and familiarize yourself with Firefox and you should be very satisfied with it. Go to the plug ins section and make sure that you load all of the plugins for Firefox. It does not take very long and involves little effort
I have IE, Opera, and Firefox on my computer and I use Firefox nearly 100% of the time. There are some sites that you have to use IE and you can use the IE Tab extension for those.
