I am trying to update the BIOS on mi Inspiron 8000 machine from A01 to A23.  I am just downloading the .exe and installing from the hard drive.  Each time I try to install, the machine gives me a message, says it: "My current BIOS version is the same as or nmewer than this version. My BIOS will not be update. Setup will exit now".  I do this, but the same thing happens...over and over.  I have tried to use older BIOS updates, A02 and A21, but the same thing happens.  I am doing this on XP home.
