Help please. !!!!screen problem

I have an inspiron 6000 WUXGA LCD display. A friend of mine just bought a 6000 model. When I put my computer against his computer, I noticed that his screen is so bright and white, while mine is dull and yellow. Just wondering if anyone experience this problem ?

    his computer is WXGA and mine is even better WUXGA LCD. Could this be a burn out light bulb or something. Thank you for reply EJ

    Are they both the same resolution and type of screen?

    No, but consider that the pixels on yours are smaller, so all else equal, it may not be as bright.

    Have you adjusted the brightness?

    Try FN+PGUP. That will change the brightness. Also if you have your on battery the screen will be darker (saves battery life)

    yes I did try to adjust the brightness to the maximum already. Still soooooooo dim and yellowish. Could it be graphic card ? His is ATI mobility radeon x300, mine is Intel integrated 9000. Thank you for reply
