help
i have a problem, i just installed windows xp on my laptop and the image is small and in the middle of the screen, it's surrounded by black areas.I can not change it anyhow....

Welcome to the Dell Community Forum,
I would suggest for you to post which Inspiron model that you have to get better support. Have you installed all of your required drivers,including your Video driver? If so, you may want to try pressing the Fn+F7 key to stretch your video. Hope that this helps.

1. Right click on the desktop, select "properties".
2. Setect the "settings".
3. Change the "display resolution" to the highest value.
