inspiron 1720 keyboard replacement

I have an older inspiron 1720 that needs a keyboard replacement...

Have seen 2 part #s that say they are compatible with this laptop.

uw 739

fp 409

they look the same... but would like to get the right one...or would both fit ?

Nice to hear from you.

Please private message us your system tag#, will let you know the compatible part.

Click on my user name in Blue and then click on send private message and send across the system tag number.

The first part# doesn't show any details in our inventory database, the second part number is compatible for an XPS and is not in stock.

I have the same 1720 but it died in December. I had a brand new keyboard but gave it to best buy with the computer. it was still in the box and never used.
