My brand new INSPIRON N5110 bought in Thailand malfunctioned a week ago while on automatic windows update function. 

Now the C drive is blank (does not show its capacity and I cannot perform windows update. It does not shut down either. On checking the Device Manager I got following message: (There is a warning sign in its icon)

SM Bus Controller Properties:

The drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28)

 This operation returned because the timeout period expired.

 To find a driver for this device, click Update Driver.

Attempts update driver repeatedly fails and online update was also not successful as I got following message:

Windows could not find driver software for your device.

If you know the manufacturer of your device, you can visit its website and check the support section for driver software.

How do i rectify this?
