Anything that can work on Windows 7 32 bit should work on Windows 7 64 bit. I have had no problems with any of the 32 bit software I use. It installs 32 bit software in C:\Program Files(x86) and 64 bit software in C:\Program Files. It is likely that the software you are trying to install if having problems is incompatible with Windows 7 and not because you are using a 64 bit OS. Please state what softwares you are experiencing difficulties with and we might be able to further assist.
