Laptop Over Heating Issue

Hi,

I am having DELL Studio 1558 laptop. Recently, my laptop is getting overheating problem. Once I start it, gets overheated within 15 minumtes causing my machine to respond slow and finally it gets stuck. Then I have to hard-shut down it and wait till it cools off.

Is it my laptop's cooling fan are not working ?? Please help.
