I am using a dell Latitude D830 Laptop. It has a SIM card slot beneath the battery pack. I wonder what it is for i read that it is for internet or smthing like that.
It is for use in conjunction with a WWAN card and a subscription (in the US) to AT&T wireless internet. Without the WWAN card and subscription, the SIM socket/card is useless.
