My Laptop unused for 2 months when turned on I now have no sound on the speakers, earphone socket or via the HDMI output into my tv,  which I have video but no sound. I have checked the obvious, device manager reports all is working correctly for the sound section. I have checked out "windows sound" and that is ok also.

  Driver ver 6.10.0.6324, I am suspect a sound card failure if so what sound card is used? some help and advice please. OS win 7 pro.
