My 600m won't boot
I just replaced the monitor about a month ago... It suddenly froze while I was using the computer and crashed. Now it won't boot, the lights will turn on but after about 10 seconds there are two quick beeps. This happened once in the past and I fixed it by unplugging the monitor and plugging it back in but it won't work this time? Any ideas?

Ok... here's what I need you to do. I need you to enter the BIOS screen upon startup. Hit F2 at the Dell Splash screen, and it whould take you into it. From there, I need to know what version BIOS your computer has installed... since there are a ton of different versions for this particular computer, I want to pick one that is compatible to the one you currently have.The next step is...You'll need a floppy drive, or a CD burner (use a CD-R) on a different computer to enable you to make a boot disk that contains the BIOS update. Obviously you have one because you are on the forum. :) You'll need to set your default boot drive to your CD/DVD drive (which ever is available) to boot from your floppy or CD-ROM. At this point, the computer should flash the BIOS. Once that is done, restart and go back into BIOS, reset all your default values (Shift F12 I think..) and take the CD out. It should then boot from you HDD (Hard Drive).. if it doesn't, manually go into BIOS again and switch your default boot drive to your master HDD.Just let me know what BIOS revision you are currently running and I'll help you further..Straddude2

Hmm.. The two beeps mean something. :) I'm going to have to do some research about what the 600M uses as its BIOS. I'm not sure if its a Dell BIOS or something else... I'll let you know what I find. Good luck with it until then!
