There are several adapters that could have been ordered with that notebook.  We are going to need more information than that.

Are you having trouble locating the correct driver or is the issue you do not know which adapter you have.

Finding System Information about your wireless adapters/cards

If you are having a problem determining what the wireless adpater is, please run Finding System Information.
At the bottom of the text file that is created, you will find what network adapters are in the computer.

Since you recently installed the operating system, did you install the drivers in order? How to Download and Install Drivers in the Correct Order

I don't see any Windows 7 32-bit drivers for this system.

Especially with the amount of RAM you have installed. This could be related if you did not install the notebook system utility and the chipset drivers first.

I don't know which adapter I have. I installed a network driver but it's an ethernet controller, and I need wireless.

When I tried to install the Dell System Services drivers it said, "This instillation package is not supported by this processor type. Contact your product vendor." Which is strange because I got the DSS drivers from the Inspiron 15r N5110 page, which is the laptop I have.

I redid everything and installed all the drivers in the right order, and I didn't have any trouble until I try to find the right network controller driver.  Everything else installs fine, but none of the drivers on that list work for my network controller.

Your network controller is not showing. I would reseat the wireless adapter to make sure it's not loose/ Instructions HERE.

Did you dance around in a circle while waving an Amercan flag and singing Born in the USA (it has to be the Bruce Springstien version or the drivers will not install correctly) if you don't do that while installing the drivers then they will not install correctly. Go to thed download driver page and try everything suggested then get very angry because this place is is no help at all.
