Has anyone had the same problem that I keep getting which is:

If I double click quickly on Documents, Pictures, Music, Video I get the magic green circle revolving and nothing happens if ‘when I get impatient’ I try clicking again the monitor goes into fade mode with the message such and such is not responding so I call up task manager and stop the program, now I am not sure whether the fault is:
a, with me for being too quick and impatient.
b, A problem with the computer Dell inspiron 530  it has 4GB ram and 500GB HD
c, With Vista home which has all the updates etc.
I have done a Dell restore but this makes absolutely no difference
