NVIDIA GO 7300 Issues

I've got an Inspiron E1505: 1.83 GHz Centrino Duo, 1 GB RAM, and the NVIDIA GO 7300 256 MB video card, running on Windows XP. During any game I play, the frames per second are terribly low (around 14-22) even at lowest visual settings. Quite frequently the system locks up completely mid-game, and sometimes I even get the wonderful "blue screen of death". The few times it comes out of freeze and exits to the desktop, there is a message of unable to reference memory location or something along those lines, and the blue screen says something about nv_4.dis I believe. Has anyone else experienced this and had any luck fixing it? These problems only occur while playing games, everything else works fine. The game culprits are: WoW, Guild Wars, and Battlefield 2142. I've taken many steps to fix the problem myself and also with Dell's online and phone help...nothing working. The latest driver is well over a year old now, and I haven't had any luck locating an updated one that works in XP so that could be part or the whole problem. This video annoyance is driving me nuts! If anyone has any help to offer I will VERY much appreciate it.

Could someone at least tell me where I can get an updated and working driver for the Go 7300? I looked at the laptopvideo2go site for one, but none of them worked. Either they wouldn't install or they would install but not work properly. Or, if nothing else works I'll switch video cards. Where might I find the ATI X1400?

I have a E1505 with the Go 7300 as well.  You shouldnt really expect to get that much out of the card.  Both the go 7300 and the x1400 are about as low end as you can go besides integrated graphics.  I'm not sure if it will help because i dont play games, but on my system i installed a tweaked driver from www.tweaksrus.com     They claim to give your system a performance boost if you use their drivers.  I have been using it for a while now and have had no problems.  Vista aero performance seems to be more responsive too.  But they have XP drivers too.  Look around on the site.  There are instructions on how to install and other stuff in the forum.
