Question: AC Adapter Missing Power Cord

My question is this; is it possible to purchase just the power cord for an AC Adapter without having to purchase the whole adapter unit? The AC Adapter in question can be found here for an Inspiron 2200 notebook. Prompt reply is greatly appreciated.

Try parts-people.com - I've seen them sell just the detachable AC cord.

I checked and they seem to only have the full package there as well. Thank you for the tip though :)

That cord can be found alot of places. It is a standard laptop power cord. Compaq was using that for years before dell switched to that style. Take your adapter to Fry's, CompUSA or another computer store and you should find it. I just cleaned house a few months ago and got rid of about 20 of them, I think I may still have a few in the closet. See what you can do about locating one, if you can not find one I may be able to help you out.

Oh another option would be to do a search on Ebay, I see complete AC adapters selling on there for less than $10. I used " inspiron 2200 ac" for the search and there were 105 listings
