RAM problems

Sorry to bother everyone with this but Ive run into a problem with my ram i think. Every now and then ill get an error that reads something like "there was a memory intrusion at (put in hex numbers here). memory could not be read" now ive goten some who say its my operating system and others who say its my ram but what do you guys think. ill try to get a screan shot asap.     I recreated the error while watching a divix encoded movie. It said "The instruction at "0x0294116e" referenced memory "0x4d68ffff". The Memory could not be "read"". im sorry i couldnt post a pic of it but cant host it. And while i was doing all this it came up again folowed by explorer crashing. I need help.

    try running the memory tester from the dell diagnostics CD and see if that pops up an error.

    or you could try only using 1 module at a time to see if it is a bad module.
