I have an Inspiron 600m running XP home edition.  I got into safe mode to run anti-malware programs to try to get rid of a trojan (Downloader-AWX).   (Yes, it says Safe Mode in all 4 corners of the screen.)  When I restart, the system always comes up in safe mode again.  I have pressed F8 while restarting to get to the screen showing restart options, highlighted "Start Windows Normally," pressed Enter, and the computer still starts up in safe mode.  Somewhere along the way I disabled System Restore but I don't think that is relevant.  When I tried to enable System Restore, I got a message telling me I had to restart in normal mode first.  Is there any way to get back to normal mode?  Will appreciate any help.
