system restore
Can someone please help ive been trying to do a system restore on my dell 1501 and its not working. I try to do a system restore and then a message comes up saying system restore has been suspended because of a lack of space on drive E:. Is there anyway i can just delete everything on the computer and start over. I googled on how to uninstall everything and then reinstall it but that hasnt worked either can someone please help me i bought this laptop from a "friend" and he cant help me either please help

HERE is the Dell instructions for a complete manual reinstall.
However, many Dell's have a Recovery Partition on the hard drive that will restore it to the factory setup. On XP systems it's CTRL/F11 at initial boot up. On systems that were delivered with Vista it's F8 at initial boot up. If your PC has this, it's best to use the Dell PC Restore (and it does not require any discs).
