Unable to install camera
I have a Dell 1501 inspirion running on Vista.
Recently I purchased a Logitech camera for it.
I did everything as per instructions but once it came to the connecting the camera to the usb
and the computer loading the driver I encountered a problem, I recieved the following message...
"Windows encountered a problem installing the driver for your device
windows found driversoftware for your device but encountered an error while attempting to install it
usb composite device
This operation requires an interactive window station
If you know the manufacturer for your device, you can visit its website and check the support sectionfor driver software."
Now as sson as I saw that I went to device driver and found that as before the camera had a exclamation point next to it and it also had the Code 28>
I proceeded to update driver.
install and still same problem.
I have done clean installs< uninstall and reinstall, clean boots and safe mode still the same results.
inclusive I purchased another bran camera and still have the same issue.
I've been to their support pages and ever with microsoft and nothing nada zip.
any help will be greatly appreciated.
