volume meter
ciao a tutti
when i get my vostro 1400 first, i used to see an orange meter for the volume as i take it up or down. now for 1 reason or another it disappeared.
It wud be much appreciated if some 1 helped me finding the solution for this

I think _Allan_ is refering to Quickset. Its here (under applications).

do you see a blue Q with a yellow Ligntening bolt near the clock? If so, left click select Hot Key Popups, select "Display Onscreen Volume"
If you don't see a Blue Q then you may need to reinstall from the Dell Downloads page
