Where do I click "run" at?

well I am trying to install some updates and it says to click start and then click run, but i dont see it, I have windows vista home edition and im kinda new to it, can someone tell me where i can find it? thanks.

    Just type the command in the "start search" box right above theh round Windows button.

    Right click on the start button, select properties, select the Start Menu tab, select the Customize button, scroll down until you find RUN and place a check mark next to it and hit OK, then OK again.
    You should now have the Run option.
