2005fpw - OSD options not working

just bought a new 2005fpw and noticed that when I try to adjust the image settings, they're all, but 2, greyed out. I can't select anything but EXIT & SCALING.
 
Everything else is not accessible - Auto Adjust, Pixel Clock, Phase, Sharpness, etc...
 
Is this a general problem? I have a coworker who has the same issue.

    When you use the DVI input, you have to use your graphic driver's color settings.  The color settings on the monitor will work for other inputs.

    thanks.. this is what I figured... but Dell is sending coworker a replacement for this issue... i don't have any dead pixels so I didn';t want to have to trade this in if I didn't have to.
