Hello, I received the monitor last week and so far i love it, but just have a little problem. I'm using Vista and the bold letters are blurry/too sharp. I don't know how to explain this well, but it is very annoying. The Windows itself doesn't have this problem. Nvidia control panel doesn't help at all. I'm using native resolution and everything seems ok. WinXP didn't have this problem, so something wrong with Vista. Any help is appreciated.
Clear Text is turned on automatically using Vista. You can turn it off if you want to and can do a search for it, and it will walk you through the steps to go that. I've found Clear Text a lot easier to read. If you decide to use it, you can download a Clear Text control panel that's for XP, but it works well on Vista. The control panel allows you to tweak the Clear Text to ones liking.
Hi, I have got the same problem with my 2007WFP. The problem occurs only in Vista and it seems that vista is using the wrong resolution for the monitor as I can only see half of the taskbar at the bottom of the screen. I use the screen either as extended desktop or as a primary screen with my laptop, the blurry text is seen with both. It is definately not a problem with clear text. To make the screen look normal again I have to go to the mobility center and click on "Connect Display". However, once i restart or i close and open my laptop lid, the screen goes all blurry again. Would be great if someone could solve the problem.
