The SE177FP has the blue VGA port. Your video card must be able to support the resolution of 1280x1024@60Hz.
* Right click the Desktop
* Click Properties
* Click Settings
* Under Screen resolution, do you have the 1280x1024 option? If yes, then the monitor will work
