Recently upgraded to MacOS Sequoia 15.0 and appears that DDPM's Easy Arrange feature is defaulting to a double screen layout - even when otherwise deactivated.
The only solution appears to be to quit DDPM altogether.
macOS DDPM 1.3.2.0015 released today on October 21, 2024 states =
Important Information - This application requires the Display Data Channel/Command Interface (DDC/CI) to be enabled to work. - This package supports the Mac 12, 13, 14 and 15 operating system.
Not only the Easy Arrange feature but switching between devices is also impossible. Dell Monitors are currently unusable. My opinion about Dell is deeply fallen. Without sufficient support, Dell products are only knick-knacks! THAT'S A HUGE SHAME!
I am having the same issue. Even when I manually select a different layout it reverts to the default 2 windows side by side layout. Also started after upgrading to Sequoia.
DDPM is not working in Sequoia in multiple areas, including KVM and peripherals not working. Dell appears to not have tested DDPM in Sequoia yet at all, which is crazy!
The latest version of macOS DDPM 1.3.1.0015 was released on July 9, 2024 and validated up to macOS 14 Sonoma released on September 26, 2023. DDPM 1.3.1.0015 was not tested with the just released macOS 15 Sequoia as all can see under, "Important Information" =
Some feedback for Dell...MacOS releases timings are no state secret and follow a fairly well established pattern of annual beta and official release....
Therefore as an Apple and Dell customer and for your (Dell's) customer retention and satisfaction, personally I would at the minimum expect Dell as a major global computing corporation to at the very least be ahead of the official OS base release timings from Apple and to be on par testing compatible software versions, *as part of the beta release* of major OS release, i.e. ahead of final OS release.
After all its why Apple go to the bother of having a beta release schedule: it's precisely aimed for developers to iron out any incompatibilities with their own software.
DDPM 1.3.2 will have support for macOS 15 Sequoia. The release date to the applicable Monitors Drivers & Downloads page should be sometime in late October.
