Help with E173FP Flat Panel Display
Hi this is my first post. My granddaughter was playing on my computer this afternoon when I went back to work on it my monitor said "Cannot Display this Video Mode". I've found that she has probably played with the video settings...but I can't figure out how to get it back correct.
Can someone please walk me through how to reset this? I would rally appreciate it.
I really need to get on my desk top to work on some pictures.

Ok I went in this way and I evidently don't know what is right to set everything to! Can you give me concise step by step Please....I really appreciate your help! I'm so frustrated.
Jane- Once you have accessed the display menu (by right clicking the desktop and choosing Properties), you switch to the settings tab. Here you pull the slider under "Display resolution" down to 1280x1024 (or lower).Then click "Advanced" and navigate to the "Monitor" tab and set the refreshrate of the monitor to 60 Hz.Click OK.Click OK to return to the desktop.Reboot the computer.

I got it fixed :) I reset it back to October when I knew it was ok :) Thank you for all of the help! I can't thank you enough.

You need to start Windows in Safe Mode and reset the resolution in the Display Properties. Safe mode will start Windows with only the necessary default drivers, and reduced screen resolution. The optimal resolution is 1280x1024 @ 60Hz.
To access Safe Mode, start the computer and repeatedly tap the F8 key as it boots. You should see a screen with Safe Mode options. To access Display Properties, right click on the Desktop, or use Control Panel. Post back if you have any problems... or success :).
