U2415, DaisyChain sleep/wakeup issue

I recently bought 2 U2415 monitors, manufactured in Dec 2014 and daisy chained them to my laptop. I can't get them to respond after waking my laptop from sleep mode. There have been many posts on this display port sleep/wakeup issue, wasn't sure if it was affecting all monitors, or if its a cable issue,  or its a display firmware issue. I tried with different laptops and it's the same issue. I am currently using the stock cable provided by Dell.

Computer video card DP out --> DP to mDP cable --> #1 U2415 mDP in (DisplayPort 1.2 enabled in the OSD On Screen Display)
    #1 U2415 DP out --> DP to mDP cable --> #2 U2415 mDP in (DisplayPort 1.2 Disabled)

Have you run the Intel Driver Update Utility?

    Both are A01

The cabling and OSD options are as per what you provided

I think I ran the driver update last month, let me run it again just in case.

We have not seen this DP chain issue on the Intel onboard GPUs in our lab. Which specific Inspiron laptop model? We will try to borrow the same model and test.

HP Elitebook 840 G1 - This is the laptop I primarily use to connect to the two monitors

    Dell Inspiron 14 5000

How do the different revisions differ? A01/A02/A03

Are you able to test out the A01's in daisy chain?

If I go for the exchange, why will there be 'refurbished' replacements?

The revision data difference is confidential. In our testing of U2415 A02's, all Intel HD driver newer than 3412 work fine on daisy chain connection. Use these instructions to get the monitors exchanged. The refurbished replacements will be A02.

Hi, I have another thread with u2415 similar issues.

Chris, can you confirm about replacements being refurbished units?

If that is the case, I'm just going to return my u2415 and wait for retail A02 units.

    * No. We are only testing A02s. We know A00 and A01 fail. That is why we created A02.

If I go for the exchange, why will there be 'refurbished' replacements?
    * Because the refurbished are the only ones updated to A02.

Hi, I have another thread with u2415 similar issues. Chris, can you confirm about replacements being refurbished units?
    * All replacements are refurbished flashed to A02.

If that is the case, I'm just going to return my u2415 and wait for retail A02 units.
    * I doubt any retail reseller will ever get the updated A02s. Resellers always have older stock.
