As the title says, whenever I connect the monitor, the screen is full on green. Status messages show up correctly and when there is no cable connected it is fine. I installed drivers without a hitch and I have tried both DVI and HDMI cables with no change in result. Windows detects the monitor properly as well. I am somewhat stumped so any help is appreciated.
U2713H power button reset, BID (Built-in Diagnostics)
* Turn the U2713H off * Disconnect every cable (including the power cable) from the U2713H * Press the power button in for 8 seconds (clears any residual power in the circuits) * Reconnect ONLY the power cable to the U2713H * Turn the U2713H on and run the BID (Built-in Diagnostics), page 52 - If the BID does not show the issue, the U2713H itself is functional. The fault lies with either the cabling, video card, video card driver, or operating system - If the issue appears on the BID gray/red/green/blue/black/white/text screens, the U2713H is defective
BID works perfectly. It does have a burnt out pixel in a corner but that does not matter. Issue still persists even now. Went out and got a new high grade DVI-D Dual Link cable and I still get a completely green screen when plugging it in. Menus look and work just fine.
OS is windows 10 Pro
Video card is a 1080 TI with the latest Nvidia drivers.
Installed the latest Dell drivers for the monitors aswell.
I know people have recommended to use the DVI cable that came with the screen, however that is not possible since I got this screen second hand when an old employer got rid of old and excess gear when they were moving office.
The fact that the standalone BID does not show that "completely green screen" means that the fault may not be with the U2713H.
* Turn the PC and U2713H off * Disconnect the U2713H from the GTX 1080 Ti * Disconnect the power cable from the PC * Open the PC case cover * Remove the GTX 1080 Ti from the motherboard slot * Blow out any dust on the motherboard and the case internal area * Reseat the GTX 1080 Ti into the motherboard slot. Make sure it clicks into place * Replace the PC cover * Reconnect the power cable to the PC * Reconnect the U2713H to the GTX 1080 Ti * Turn the U2713H on, then the PC
