I have a Dell U3415W widescreen which has developed a lighter band about four inches wide down the left-hand side and wavy, cloud-like lines across parts of the screen. They are only visible when the monitor is switched on and seem to disappear after a few minutes. There are no dead pixels (the white spot is dust on the camera lens. The pic shows the lighter band and the 'X' shaped wavy line. Fairly simple query: anyone have any ideas what the problem might be? Is it fixable? Or should I just get a new monitor?
