Vista Compatible Drivers for E172FPB
I have a Dell 4600C that has gone belly-up. I want to keep the monitor, a E172FPB. I have checked the Dell Monitors & Displays, Drivers & Downloads looking for a driver. I don't see this monitor listed under either the XP/2000 or Vista pulldowns. Is there a Vista compatible driver for this monitor? Thanks.

Welcome to the forums :emotion-21:
I know some manufacturer's offer drivers for their monitors, but they're usually just for older Win 9x OS - such as Windows 95/98/98SE.
As Chris M suggests... you don't need to install monitor drivers under XP or Vista... on any system.
Simply connect the monitor to whatever system you'll be using, and the OS will install default drivers when you boot the system.
You'll subsequently be able to use any resolution the monitor is capable of :emotion-5:
