White Screen
I have a Dell Monitor about 3 years old. All of a sudden the screen goes completley white. Sometimes it comes back, most of the time it has to be off for a day. I had a dimension 2400, tech help said it was the compute, not the monitor. I just bought a C521, hooked it up to the monitor, and it still went white. Anybody out there ever had this problem. I would appreciate any input. Thanks. Bob. K.

If it does it on another computer. Then chances are the tech was not right and the problem device is the monitor.
If you can, try another video cable for the monitor and/or check that the current cable is plugged in all the way and the pins on the connectors are straight.652

Check for the issue while running the STFC (Self-Test Feature Check). If it occurs there, the monitor is defective.
