NetWorkder Support for Exchange 2010

I am testing Exchange 2010 on my network and need to know if I can back it up with the Exchange Module for NetWorker.

The answer is no. Latest version of the Software Compatibility List is dated 31 May 2009 and does not list Exchange 2010 as being supported. The latest version of the Exchange client is 5.1, not too sure when 5.2 is scheduled to come out - one of the internal EMC guys on the list should have access to the roadmap and be able to say when it is due and hopefully whether or not it will support Exchange 2010.

We would all benefit from the Q: Does NetWorker Support for Exchange 2010A: In NetWorker terms support means that a product has been rigorously tested, codes have been adjusted to properly interact with that product and the compliance has been confirmed in the Compatibility Guide. Until a product is listed in the Compatibility Guide it cannot be considered ¿officially¿ supported. Not being supported in NetWorker lingo does not mean that NetWorker does not work with the product; it means that you cannot implement it in a production environment and if something unexpected happened, expect EMC to fix the problem or to provide a patch. Q: Can you back it up with the Exchange Module for NetWorkerA: You probably would, at least for IS I can¿t see any reason why not, but difficult to say about MB. However, I would like to suggest trying the NetWorker Module for Microsoft Applications (NMM) which is replacing NetWorker Module for Microsoft Exchange. Regards¿
