Hello,
1°) I'm using right now an Overland library 24 slots, I purchased a
license for 16 slots, do you think it will work even if I activate only
16 slots on the Overland. I try this with Quantum (Scalar i500) and it
work.
2°) My Overland Left magazine display an "X" after i reserved slots
(12), it seam like the left magazine is disable. what this may be due ?

I done what you advice me, i also reserved active slot on the Overland
Library, but after done this, the left magazine display an "X" like if
he were desactivated. is this normal ???

After I activate the license (16 slots) for autchanger, I still see 24 slots in Networker. So I tried to reserve 16 slots, but the left magazine of the overland displays an "X" as if he were disabled, this may due to what ? and how to get the left magazine active again ?Sorry for my english

Hi,
1- Run the following command to get the SCSI ID of the Library:
changers
2- Then run the following command to see how many Slots NetWorker sees:
sjirjc SCSI_ID
If the number is higher than the 16 then you cannot configure the Library.
You need to contact the Library vendor and ask them to change the Library Firmware so that it displays 16 Slots only.
