Networker on a cluster

We are moving our Networker servers to clustered servers soon and I would like to know if it is possible to install the cluster in a configuration such that the unused physical node can be used as storage node. I would anticipate that this may require a drive/library reconfiguration in the event of a failover but I can't see an immediate reason why it should not be possible...

This one will be under Sun Cluster; is there anything we would need to watch out for here?

Yes, it's possible. Done that at my previous two projects (once using VCS under Solaris and second time using HPUX MCSG).

I don't know, I never worked with Sun cluster, but I assume it should be the same as with any other cluster solution. What I did was to modify startup script in a way that:
    - after shared disk is mount and nsr is linked against it (before daemons start) I empty /nsr/tmp and delete library and devices
    - after daemons are started I create libraries

Script should check of course for existence and health of storage node to avoid jbconfig script from hanging of course.
