Can you restate your question? Networker Remote Exec Service starts but not Networker Backup and Recovery Service?

You could try to take a look at daemon.log file (c:\program files\legato\nsr\logs), or in the system event viewer. There must be an error message...

I have seen this happening when Media Management Database is corrupt.

My understanding is that in second post problem was solved. If however that is not the case then run services in debug mode to see where it breaks.

It might sound out of place here but how do you start services in debug mode?

With -D option.

I had to rename res to res.old and restart service which it can start service and replace res with res.old and restart service again.

After that, it can start service ready which I had to restart it in more time , then can start alway.
