Hello I'm trying to reset the password of dell switches. I'm using USB to Serial Female. USB goes into switch and DB-9 Female goes into computer. (im using a desktop ) For some reason im not able to see any output on my putty im using the below config on the serial. Serial settings are: Cable: USB to DB9Female Bits per second: 115200 & 9600 Data bits: 8 Parity: None Stop bits: 1 Flow control: None while using the desktop in the device manager I have two com ports enabled COM1 and COM3 tried with both the COM's still no luck. Also tried to telnet from CMC it done allow me to delete the config and create my own user name and password. any suggesting to get into the switch and reset the password. I referred other posts in the community and followed the steps as instructed but we are not having any luck to crack the password. Thanks in Advance Honey Pavan
