VLT Domain Switch uplink working
We have two Dell switches configured in a VLT domain and two firewalls in HA (Active/Passive) mode. Each switch has links to both the Active and Passive firewalls. On both switches, we created Port-Channel 100 for the Active firewall and Port-Channel 102 for the Passive firewall. In this setup, will traffic flow through both switches simultaneously?
Thanks in advance

Hi,
Short answer: Yes—if those port‑channels are configured as VLT peer‑LAGs, traffic can use both switches at the same time.
But because your firewalls are HA Active/Passive, only the active firewall’s LAG will forward user traffic at any given moment. The passive firewall’s LAG is typically down or blocking until failover.
