Computer Stopped Connecting to Internet

Hi,

I have had trouble finding any luck solving this problem searching google or here, so I will try posting it.

I have a Dell Latitude D505 operating Windows XP professional. Recently my internet just stopped working. I have a 1450 Duall Band WLan Mini-PCI wireless card. Basically I was on the internet one day, and the next time I used the computer the internet did not work. The strange thing is, the icons in the bottom right of the screen still show me connected to the wireless network.

This has been a problem for some time, I have been messing around for a couple of weeks to no avail. Also, all other computers on the wireless network still work, as I am righting this on one now.

Thank you for any possible help

To help troubleshoot this problem, on the computer with the problem, go to Start > Run and type cmd then click OK. In the command prompt window that opens, type ipconfig /all then hit the enter key. Write down the output from this command or select it and save it to a txt file, then copy this output into a reply to this message.

Okay i clicked on the solution button to see what it did. Unfortunately it now says my problem is solved, but it isn't, so hopefully people still view this thread.

I have shut the computer down for the night and about to go to bed, but I will do as you said tomorrow morning/afternoon.

Again thank you for the help and prompt reply.
